Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the rule on wet suits?

USA Triathlon rules state that competitors may wear wetsuits if the water temperature is 78 degrees or lower. USAT rules also state that if the water temperature is between 78.1-83.9 degrees, competitors may wear wetsuits but will NOT be eligible for awards. If the water temperature is 84 degrees or above, participants may not wear wetsuits. Our April event- Kona Eastside Tri, and our November event- Oil Man Texas, will be wetsuit legal events.

You can register for your yearly membership at www.usatriathlon.org. You must provide your membership card at packet pickup or you will have to buy a one day pass, even if you are a current member-no exceptions.
